Trust Scores: Your Digital Reputation Is the New Resume

In an industry defined by word-of-mouth, JeevikaSetu's Trust Score gives daily workers a verifiable, portable digital reputation that follows them across every job they take.

Word-of-mouth has always been the hiring mechanism in domestic and daily labour markets. A plumber gets work because his previous client told a neighbour. A cook gets a new household because her employer's sister needed someone. This system works — slowly, locally, and in ways that exclude anyone new to an area or without strong social networks.

JeevikaSetu's Trust Score is designed to replicate the credibility of a strong word-of-mouth reputation — but make it portable, verifiable, and accumulative. Every completed job contributes to the score. Timeliness, hirer satisfaction, communication, and dispute history all factor in. A worker who completes 50 jobs with consistently high ratings carries that record into every new job application.

Critically, Trust Scores are owned by the worker, not by the platform. They cannot be reset, purchased, or inflated. If a worker moves to a new city, their score moves with them — providing a form of professional credibility in a place where they have no social network yet.

For hirers, Trust Scores replace the awkward reference call. Instead of asking 'is this person reliable?' to someone who may have their own biases, you see a track record: 94/100 trust score, 127 jobs completed, 0 cancellations in the last 90 days. That is a more honest signal than most reference letters written for white-collar roles.
